Aaron Prior

Teacher of Acting & Singing

Aaron trained professionally at the London School of Musical Theatre and went on to perform extensively in musicals, plays, pantomime and light entertainment all over the world. Aaron also produced two productions at the popular Finborough Theatre in London’s Off-West End before becoming a theatrical agent as CEO of Davis-Prior Associates Ltd. Aaron now teaches acting and singing, preparing students for LAMDA and LCM examinations with TACT.

Aaron was a Social Services Support Manager for the London Borough of Bexley and in a number of local authorities for Skylakes Social Care. As such, he has a thorough knowledge of children and young people’s safeguarding procedures. Upon returning to Telford, Aaron worked for the NHS as a Cancer Pathway Coordinator and then as PALS and Bereavement Advisor for SATH.

Aaron now works at British Gymnastics for the Governance and Standards team. He was previously a Safeguarding and Compliance Officer. He balances his time between this role and his work as a wedding, event and portraiture photographer.

Aaron is an Associate Director for TACT, having directed Twelfth Night and then Godber's Teechers for TACT as part of 2014 season. Aaron also directed TACT's production of The Importance of Being Earnest in 2016. In 2019, we launched ‘In Concert’ - a celebration of musical theatre - under Aaron’s directorial leadership to great acclaim. Aaron was also delighted to return in 2020 for In Concert, which became a virtual live streaming hit when theatres closed in 2020.
