Pauline Powell

Administration Manager

Pauline has almost 30 years experience in administration, finance and office management. With a degree in purchasing and as a qualified buyer and Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, Pauline brings an invaluable knowledge of the business industry to The Arts Centre Telford. Pauline currently works at ALSTOM transport as a buyer and works on maintenance, construction and cleaning contracts for the Virgin Pendolino Trains.

Pauline is a secret singer, having performed in school and church choirs when she was younger and she has a lifelong love of the theatre, so was delighted when Jack, her ‘middle’ son took an interest back in 2009. With Jack having graduated from TACT to study musical theatre at Mountview Theatre Arts in London, her youngest son Kieran is left to carry the singing torch on.

Pauline started volunteering with TACT as a Production Assistant and Chaperone in 2011 and took over some administrative roles in 2014, before taking over as Administration Manager later that year. Ross, Bobby and Ruth are extremely grateful to Pauline for carrying out a role well above and beyond the requirements of a volunteer.
