Katie Row

Katie grew up in Shropshire and throughout her childhood she trained in tap, modern and ballet as well as drama and singing at her local dance school. At the age of 16 and whilst studying for her GCSE’s, Katie made her professional debut in Spiller’s Pantomime production of Peter Pan at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury. Katie then went on to study dance and drama at her local college and whilst there, Katie had the honour of being an Olympic Torch Bearer in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay for her outstanding contribution to the arts and sports in her local community. 

Since graduating from Bird College in 2016 with a distinction in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, Katie has been performing all over the UK in stage and TV productions. She performed as a dancer/understudy Princess in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at The Core Theatre Solihull 2017/18 and most recently, Katie has been performing as a dancer in the UK Tour of ‘The Greatest Show: Songs From Hollywood’. As well as stage productions, Katie has been a featured dancer in Sky 1’s ‘Britannia’ and a ballerina in BBC’s ‘Peaky Blinders’. She was also cast as ‘Charlotte’s Assistant’ in HBO/Sky Atlantic’s ‘Succession’ which won the 2019 International BAFTA. Katie has performed as a solo artist at The Birmingham Weekender Festival 2017 and Birmingham International Dance Festival 2018; she is also a member of the all-female commercial tap group, Bellabeats and the current Hoofers UK programme. 

Alongside performing, Katie is a freelance dance and fitness tutor having worked with many dance schools, theatre companies and schools throughout the UK.
