Teacher & Choirs Associate

Lucy is an experienced, highly qualified performer, teacher and choir director. She holds a Diploma of Associate in Musical Theatre, obtained from the London College of Music at the age of 19. Lucy has been a member of Voices in Partnership since March 2014. Lucy has a degree in Business Management and Marketing. She currently works for Marston’s PLC in Group People Communications as a Content Creator.  

For several years, Lucy was a Vocal Coach and Choir Director at Burton Borough School. She was responsible for a considerable increase in the number of students participating in both individual lessons and choral groups. Lucy is noted for her ability to nurture and develop talented young singers and exam results have been exceptional.

Lucy has been singing from a very young age and is a former member of Telford Stage School, where she performed in shows including Annie, Fame and Little Shop of Horrors. In more recent years she has performed at events and competitions across the UK and Europe. Lucy’s teaching career has also included delivering private tuition at the Nathan Rose Music School and giving workshops across Shropshire to both adults and young people in singing and performance technique. Away from singing Lucy’s musical talents also include the piano and playing cornet in Ifton Brass Band.

Lucy currently provides cover singing teacher for The Arts Centre Telford.
