TACT ASSOCIATE

Lucy is an experienced, highly qualified performer, teacher and choir director. She holds the London College of Music Associate Diploma in Musical Theatre. Lucy has been a member of Voices in Partnership since March 2014. Lucy has a degree in Business Management and Marketing.

For several years, Lucy was a Vocal Coach and Choir Director at Burton Borough School. She was responsible for a considerable increase in the number of students participating in both individual lessons and choral groups. Lucy is noted for her ability to nurture and develop talented young singers and exam results have been exceptional.

Lucy has been singing from a very young age and has performed in shows including Annie, Fame, Little Shop of Horrors & Into The Woods. In more recent years, she has performed at events and competitions across the UK and Europe. Lucy’s teaching career has also included delivering private tuition at the Nathan Rose Music School and giving workshops across Shropshire to both adults and young people in singing and performance technique. Away from singing, Lucy’s musical talents also include the piano and playing cornet in Ifton Brass Band.

Over recent years, Lucy has contributed to so many artistic endeavours at The Arts Centre Telford, including as a singing teacher, the Musical Director of the TACT Youth Choir, and as Assistant Director and Stage Manager on several TACT productions.

Lucy is Global Communications Manager for Mondelēz International, which means that we will see slightly less of Lucy, but she will continue to sing with VIP.
