TINY TACT

Saturday
10:30-11:15am

Fun from the beginning - stories, songs and movement through creative play and games.

Kick start your child's performing arts journey with Tiny TACT - a balance of tutor led and child initiated exploration of the arts through play.

Our teacher specialises in Early Years performing arts education and will help to develop the confidence and communication of all children at TACT. A TACT assistant is also present to support children throughout the class.

Ballet

Saturday
9:00 - 9:45am

Beginners Ballet is the start of our formal dance education at TACT.

This class combines formality with friendliness and the discipline of ballet is introduced alongside a wider enjoyment of dance and music.

Musical Theatre

Saturday
9:45 - 10:30am

Musical theatre is the backbone of the offer at TACT. We want children to experience the relationship between music, drama and dance from an early age.

Children will experience a range of popular musical shows and take part in singing, acting and dance exercises to help develop their skills and confidence.

Ballet

Saturday
9:00 - 9:45pm

An introduction to the basics of classical ballet, the concepts of core stability, turn-out, flexibility, posture and placement. The students will learn basic co-ordination and alignment needed for the centre work at the end of each class.

Jazz Dance

Saturday
9:45 - 10:30am

This is a fun, routine based class which allows students to develop their dance confidence whilst learning the styles and techniques of jazz dance.

We use popular and musical theatre music to inspire young dancers to perform to the best of their ability.

Weekly exercises aim to improve both flexibility and core strength. Each class also contains corner work which allows the teacher to give individual feedback to students on the development of their kicks and leaps.

Drama

Saturday
10:30 - 11:15am

This fun-filled class explores drama through theatre games, improvisation, devised drama and scripted work.

Each week students find new ways to approach characterisation and story telling whilst developing their confidence as an actor.

Singing

Saturday
11:15 - 12:00am

This fast-paced and high-energy musical theatre singing class runs every Saturday as part of our Junior Stage School. Students learn singing technique alongside developing their confidence as a singer and musical theatre performer.

Students explore songs from across the musical theatre repertoire leading to an informal showcase of their work to parents at the end of each term.
