Ben Pierce
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
DIRECTOR OF TRAINING
Ben trained at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools in London and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. In London, Ben made connections across the arts industry and was professionally trained by leading directors, choreographers and performers. During his training, Ben also performed in several London theatres and at the Royal Albert Hall for the Olivier Awards.
Ben began working in education as a teacher at the Arts Ed weekend and holiday stage schools. Ben now teaches in a range of training setting across the West Midlands, including on a musical theatre foundation course for performers bridging the gap between sixth form and undergraduate performing arts training. Ben is a singing teacher in high demand and is a vocal coach for students at TACT, a theatre school in Birmingham, at Wrekin College in Telford, and at the oldest independent preparatory school in Shropshire. Ben’s students go on to success in London College of Music examinations and in stage school applications.
From September 2024, Ben has joined the leadership team at The Arts Centre Telford as Assistant Director and Director of Training. Having trained at TACT before going to stage school, Ben is proud to continue his personal and professional journey as part of Team TACT. Ben is really looking forward to working with all the TACT students to help them to grow as performers and achieve their full potential.
